Radio Show Recap
Humble Kingz Radio Show
Air Date: 01/30/2024

In this episode, the Kingz introduced their new sponsor, Poppa Q's Smoked Meat. Go ahead and check them out at 4849 N 90th St in Omaha, NE. Tell them that the Humble Kingz sent you!

First Student is a continued sponsor, and they are hiring bus drivers starting at $23/hr with a $2500.00 hiring bonus in the Omaha area. First Student, where the student comes first!

"Pressing On" was the first video played this episode, and it was added to a few of the Kingz' playlists. Eric Franklin is a Houston native who fell in love with music when he sang "Happy Birthday" to his 1st grade teacher. He has built great credibility in his community as a engineer, artist, and producer and is pursuing a dream of his music being played in a commercial market.

"Should Biblical Christians, who affirm God's standard of the righteousness of marriage, attend these type of functions?" is the question that was posed by T. Barlow.

There was a brief discussion on some of the challenges that Christian parents face with raising children in today's society.

The next video was the Christian Hip Hop Cypher ft. Decious/Princestar/Kibans/Rap Reverend/DRE that dropped bars like, "I'm the apple of my Sky Daddy's eye." This created a conversation in itself.

Following the Christian Hip Hop Cypher video, the conversation returned to the discussion about the Begg controversy. T.Barlow spoke on his experience with being invited to a wedding between two women, and how he declined with love and respect, while still standing firm in his beliefs. He continued to talk about how you can love a person, while choosing not to participate in things with them that go against your beliefs.

GTDyne agreed with T. Barlow in the fact that scripture is explicit on marriage and union. He believes in loving the person, while not loving the sin. His unconditional love for his family, means that he will always love the person, but has to stand firm in his belief to not support certain acts.

The Kingz discussed their personal experiences and beliefs regarding same-sex marriages, with varying opinions on attending such weddings. The conversation touched on the balance between showing love for loved ones while standing firm in one's beliefs about certain actions.
